Work at Home Mom Motivational Resources
We all need some motivation at times and I have to admit I need it more than ever these days! So, I´ve put together a list of motivational resources for work at home moms . . . though not all of them will be specifically for work at home moms.
1. When you need some peer support, head over to Work It! Mom. This is a social networking site for working moms, both in the home and out. Join a group and start making friends . . . this is a great place to get some advice when you´re stuck on anything to do with work, family and housework. I´m athomemom on the site, so look me up and add me as a friend.
2. Freelance Parent is a great blog run by two work at home moms in very different stages of parenthood. Tamara has a three year old and Lorna (a frequent visitor to this blog) just welcomed her first baby a few weeks ago. For work at home moms who are freelancing in any field, Freelance Parent is a good blog to check out.
3. Another great motivational site, particularly if you want to get organized, is Zen Habits. Leo is father of 6 who works from home, having recently quit his job. This impressive guy has made some huge changes in his life in the past couple of years and offers information on how to do it yourself. There is also a forum so you can be accountable to others with your goals, an excellent idea.
4. When it comes down to motivating yourself to get stuff done, Wendy from eMoms at Home has just as many problems as the rest of us . . . but she runs a huge blog network! Her blog is full of helpful information and on Mondays you can join her in her struggle to get organized.
Enjoy! And, if you would like to be interviewed for Motivation Monday, just shoot me an interview at athomemomblog@gmail.com.

Genesis,
It’s my first day back to work, and I check my Google Reader to discover that you’ve been so kind as to recommend Freelance Parent. Thanks so much. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying our blog as much as we enjoy yours!
Welcome back, Lorna! I look forward to reading more of your posts on Freelance Parent and hearing how you´re adjusting to life with little Dot.
What a great list of resources! Those are some of my favorites too!
