Which Business Type Works for You?
Some women are just better suited to certain types of business and in some cases your situation might dictate what type you choose. For example, I live in Guatemala, so selling physical products isn`t really an option for me as the shipping is extremely high, but selling info products is a definite option.
Let`s take a look at the three types of business that you can run and see which is best for you.
Physical Product
The type of business that most of us are familiar with is one where products are sold. These can be something you make, like soaps or baby clothing, something you buy and resell, like jewellry or cooking products, or even something you sell for another company, such as Avon or Regal.
Best for: Women who enjoy selling and who are passionate about a particular product or who have skills in making something that is in demand.
Service
Providing a service is another very valid method of running a business. A good example of this type of business would be a wahm who provides consulting services or someone who does computer repair. The possibilities here are endless and this can be a good option for those who aren`t interested in selling.
Best for: Women who have a skill set that is in demand and who enjoy helping others.
Information Products
Information products are things like ebooks or reports or even software that can be downloaded. All transactions are done online and there is no overhead to speak of . . . one info product can be sold millions of times without taking up any real space. While it might seem easier to turn out info products, if you want repeat customers, you`ll need to take the time to make them high quality.
Best for: Women who live in countries other than the one their target market is in, or those who are starting a business on a low budget. Also good for those who are not comfortable with face to face selling.
Which of these business types appeals to you? If you are already running a business, which type are you using? Let me know and we`ll start looking further into how to promote YOUR business.

Well, all of the three types of works you have introduced are very interesting. I love the toy, especially dolls and cotton bears. Since I was a child, I usually exchanged them with my friends. So maybe the first type of work is suitable for me.
Personally, I’m not really into physical products. Inventory entails capital, and there’s the possibility of spoilage (for products with shelf-life) and being obsolete (usually for technology products).
Information products are best because you do it once (maybe come up with newer versions periodically), and you can profit from it for life. For instance, I’ve read somewhere that Microsoft is only paying at most $5 for every software they sell. That’s a lot of dough for an information product that sells for hundreds.
