Solve a Problem, Earn Money

The title of this blog post might seem too simple, but that is the essence of a successful business. If you can solve a problem that people have, they will be happy to pay you for it.

This doesn`t mean you won`t need to advertise or add more products to your lineup, but at the very heart of your business, you need to be offering a solution. If you aren`t, then what is to maintain people buying from you as money gets tighter and tighter?

For example, my business is writing. My clients have a problem . . . they need content for their websites and either can`t write it themselves or just don`t have the time to do it. So, I provide a solution to that problem.

Someone who sells stroller blankets solves the problem of keeping a baby warm without tangling a blanket in the wheels of the stroller. A work at home mom who sells a safety product solves the problem of a child being injured. The most successful businesses will provide a solution to your problem.
