Need to Jumpstart Your Writing Career?

The first round of my freelance writing course was pretty successful. So successful, in fact, that one of my students actually earned back almost her entire course fee before the course even ended! Not bad!

Why am I telling you this? Because on February 15th, the second round of the course starts. I’m only accepting 20 people in this round, so if you want to make sure you have a spot, sign up soon!

I’ve changed the name as well, to the Freelance Writing Bootcamp becauseĀ  “course” didn’t describe it well enough. This isn’t just a read along course, I’m actually on my students, pushing them to be successful and helping them put each week’s lesson into action. It’s kind of intense, to tell you the truth, so if you’re the type of person who likes to read, think and dream but not actually DO anything to achieve your goals, this is NOT the course for you.

If, on the other hand, you’ve been mucking around and trying to get your writing to earn you some money, but not really going after it . . . well, this could be the perfect way to get started. I’ll be making sure my students actually do their homework and start pulling in jobs. The students in the beta round who followed each lesson to a T were quite successful and all of the ones who worked on the course had writing gigs by the end of the course. I can’t guarantee that you’ll have the exact same results, but chances are you’ll do very well if you complete each lesson’s homework. And I’m there for consultation whenever you have a question.

Sound like something you’d be interested in? You can sign up today for the Feb. 15th start date.

  1. I think another major part of becoming a better writer is simply by reading. Obviously there will be some fantastic authors out there who will influence your style, your writing, your train of thought etc. Maybe check out infloox online as a tool to help with this.

  2. Reading is definitely a must if you want to write well! This course isn’t to teach you how to write, though, it teaches you how to earn money with writing.

  3. Sounds really good. So often with these types of courses you learn the practical, but actually learning the business of making money from the skill is ignored.

  4. Writing is absolutely important in any workforce, especially if you are running a internet business from home. I personally think what sets out great bloggers, and internet marketers from others is their writing ability. This is a very interesting course that you have started, I think it’s great that you will be handing out homework and encouraging people to complete there homework, homework is practice, and practice makes perfect.
