I always say that I "won the spouse lottery." My meal planning system involves waiting for my husband to get home from work and then asking "what's for dinner?" He cooks about 98% of the time! He enjoys both cooking and eating more than I do, so it just worked out this way. I used to feel really guilty about it, like I wasn't being a good "wife," but he made it clear that this was just the way our family works, and there's nothing wrong with it.
