Listening In to Other Work at Home Moms

I have found that it is quite useful to be able to listen to something while working. Not while I’m on the computer, but while sewing or preparing dinner. It’s a form of multi-tasking that works well, especially when doing repetitious tasks like dipping candles or cutting out pattern pieces.

Now I can listen to Work at Home Mom Talk Radio, which is a really great concept. You download the podcasts and listen to them at your convenience. For me, this is usually while I’m doing things like housework.

It can be very helpful to hear what other work at home moms are doing and how they deal with that ever changing balance between work and family. It never hurts to get inspired by a success story or two, either.

WAHM Talk Radio offers interviews with successful mompreneurs and offers tips and advice for moms who are trying to start a business at home. I’m just getting into their archives, but so far, the material is excellent and it’s fun to have a new way to absorb information.

  1. Wow! I never heard of this. We have our own talk radio show? It’s an awesome idea, I just didn’t know that it existed. We WAHMs are clearly becoming mainstream. What’s next? Our own TV show?

  2. I wouldn´t be surprised if there is going to be a TV show sometime in the near future! I just don´t have time to watch TV these days, though and listening to radio is easier since you can do a lot of other stuff at the same time.

  3. Hi Genesis, I listened to this and posted in it today. (I linked to you.)

  4. Thanks, Laura, I hope you enjoyed the podcasts.
