Investing in Education
How often have you given your husband the go ahead to buy a course on how to repair the car, or attend a seminar that he feels will help him earn more? Or bought educational books or computer software for your children? You probably have quite a few materials around your home that are for educating your family, but how many do you have for yourself?
Moms seem to have a gene that makes them help everyone else in the family and ignore themselves. If you want your business to expand and grow, though, it can be very helpful for you to invest in your own education. Even if you feel guilty about it, purchasing a book or even taking a short financial course will benefit everyone in the family. The more you learn and are able to better your home business, the more your husband and children will get out of it, too.
Give yourself permission to go ahead and learn. Sure, there´s a lot you can learn online for free, but there are times when a two-day seminar or a bi-weekly class can really get you into the learning mode again and give you that momentum you need to keep going and to improve your business.
