I just finished editing two articles, one of which was for an author in Ireland, who obviously has no connection to our holiday. I admit to working a bit yesterday morning also. My feeling is, if you can grab some early or late free time over a holiday, then feel free catch up on work, but don't allow work to take away from family time and celebrations.
