Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
If you are trying to run a business and you are staying in your comfort zone, you probably aren’t doing too well! In fact, you might feel like you are stuck, that your idea wasn’t so hot after all, or even that you are a bit of a loser. I’ve been there, I suspect we all have. The trick is to do things that make you uncomfortable. I’ll use this blog as an example. I personally am a very solitary person and I like to be on my own. Internet business is ideal for me in this manner. But it is also my downfall because I don’t tend to participate in many social things.
Well, recently, I have made an effort to get out of my comfort zone, start connecting with other bloggers and trying to make a bit of a splash and guess what? Amazingly, my traffic has more than doubled in that time!
So, what could you do to get out of your own comfort zone and make your business better? Bob Parsons said it best, “I believe that not much happens of any significance when we’re in our comfort zone. Security is for cadavers.”

Hi, you are absolutely right! I recently read a book called FROM ENTREPRENEUR TO INFOPRENEUR that discusses the importance (and necessity) of establishing a presence on the internet thru blogging and message boards. After 4 years of staying in my “cave” on eBay, I have emerged to use blogging as a business tool. Better late than never! And have met some very intelligent, creative, interesting people along the way!
Blogging works, according to my stats and traffic reports.
Peace and blessings-
Suzanne
Yup, it is definitely worth it to get out there and make yourself public! I´m amazed at how fast this blog is growing with just a little bit of networking.
