Finding Support While Working At Home
Running a home business is somewhat like having a baby. While you COULD do it without anyone helping you or encouraging you, it`s tough. Really tough. Support can be a huge factor in whether or not your business actually gets off the ground and works.
For most women, their spouse, friends and possibly children, are a source of support. But what happens when your family and friends think you`re nuts for starting up a business on your own and constantly offer criticisms and tell you that you`ll fail. These negative people can make you feel like it really is impossible to succeed, so the best way to avoid falling into the negativity is to find supportive people to surround yourself with.
Obviously, it`s best to have these people physically close, since going out for coffee with a good friend who will lift you up is the best way to feel better, but online support can be great, too. Why not join a work at home online community where you can meet like-minded women? It can really help you feel like it`s possible to make your business work when you are feeling down.
Where do you find support for working at home?

Great article! I agree that it is SO important to find positive support! Fortunately I have some like-minded friends with whom I share details and coffee. I’ve also found it helpful to meet regularly with people who are successful at what they do. There’s nothing more encouraging than knowing somene who has struggled and is now in an amazing place with her business!
This is just one of the many reasons that I adore having a business partner.
My husband is supportive in my goals… it’s great and much needed. But he doesn’t “understand” it the way I do – he wants to believe I can do it, just needs to see the proof I think…. So, he’s pretty skeptical. Ah well. lol Maybe I need to find some like-minded people online
