What is an affiliate?
An affiliate is someone who promotes another person`s products using special links so any sales made can be tracked to the affiliate. A percentage of each sale is paid out to the affiliate.
What am I promoting?
Right now, ebooks. However, in the near future, you`ll be able to promote ecourses, as well. I suggest signing up to my email newsletter at the left so you`ll be able to stay on top of new product releases. You don`t have to promote every product, only the ones you feel are useful for your audience.
How much can I earn?
You`ll receive 50% of the sale price. So, if the ebook is priced at $19.97, you`ll get $9.99 of that. How many sales are made will depend on how interested people are and how much you promote the program.
How and when do I get paid?
I pay during the first week of each month for the previous month, via PayPal. That means you`ll be paid in the first week of March for any sales made via your affiliate link in February.
Please make sure you have a PayPal account before you sign up to be an affiliate. You can register for a free account here.
How do I promote my affiliate links?
There are plenty of ways to do this. You could write a review of one of my ebooks and post it on your blog, linking to it with your affiliate links. You could include it in your forum signature (following the rules, of course).
Some other ideas include:
- Write a short report and link to any of the ebooks as resources
- Set up a Squidoo page to promote an ebook or ecourse
- Include your affiliate link in your email signatures
- Tell people on your email list about the ebooks
- Write articles with your affiliate link in the bio and submit to article directories
I will also be putting up some banners and graphics that you can use to promote your affiliate links, so please check back for that.
