Customer Service: Your Ticket to Success
With the economy taking a nosedive just about everywhere, most work at home moms are starting to wonder if their businesses are going to take a hit. I`m not even going to pretend to be able to answer that or foresee the future. But, I can tell you that business success depends on your clients and making your clients happy means they will keep coming back to you.
It isn`t always price that maintains customers coming back, though this is certainly important. The quality of the product is also vital, but the fact is that people will shop where they are comfortable. That means if you are busy with producing products and pay little or no attention to customer service, you`ll end up with a failing business.
No one likes to buy from someone who is rude or mean, but you can go one further than simply being nice. Here are a few ideas to step up that customer service.
- Offer discounts to long term customers to thank them for their loyalty.
- Make note of customer birthdays and send them a card with a coupon or even a small gift for it.
- Tuck a little extra into a particularly large order.
- Make sure you promptly replace any defective item.
- Offer a money back guarantee.

You have made some great points here about customer service. Being attentive to your customers is very important.
It seems like so many business people fall down on the simple things like returning phone calls promptly and delivering their product/service as promised. If you make the customer a priority, then they are more likely to keep coming back for more!
