Bypassing Work at Home Mom Scams with Your Own Business
Did you know that a huge number of work at home scams are directed at moms? That´s because they figure we are probably more desperate to find a way to work from home. And maybe it´s true. My solution is to start your own business. It might be a bit of hard work, but why not invest that money that could be thrown away on scams in your own home business?
I have talked to people who have actually spent not hundreds, but thousands, of dollars on work at home scams. What a rip-off! Imagine what you could do with $2,000 to start your own business? Plenty of moms have spent that much on seminars and useless work at home packages when the money would have been far better used to give their own business a boost. Sorry if I´m ranting a bit, it really bugs me to hear about moms getting taken to the cleaners.
It´s easy to retreat to the safety of what has been done before and the comfort of having a boss tell you what to do. The truth is that some people do need that, starting your own business isn´t for everyone. However, for work at home moms who are up to the challenge, the rewards are worth it.
There´s no reason to start big, you can begin with a fairly small home business, with an eye for growth later on. If you are stuck for ideas, reading this blog is a good start. Head over to the Home Business category and you´ll find quite a few business ideas that can be run at home. Or brainstorm a great home business idea that is based on your talents.
Starting a home business is no easy task, but if you are sick of work at home scams . . . it might be time to consider a better alternative.

The rule that I have about work-from-home scams is: if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. It’s a shame that most of these are directed at moms, though.
