BackBlaze: Ultimate Customer Service
I wrote a couple weeks back about the importance of backing up. At the time, I was using a trial version of Backblaze, but when I went to register for the full version, it turned out you need a credit card. Which I don`t have.
When your trial is coming to an end, Backblaze sends you a message asking for feedback, so I just said that while I loved their service, I couldn`t use it, and explained why.
About an HOUR later, I got an email and they set up a method for me to pay with PayPal. Now that is high end customer service! I cannot tell you how many companies I`ve dealt with that simply say, “I`m sorry, we can`t accommodate you.” Which might be very valid, but from the customer point of view it basically ensures that you will never do business with them, even in the future!
Needless to say, my recommendation of Backblaze still stands, stronger than ever!
