Most of the techniques and information on At Home Mom has to do with running offline businesses, though there is certainly information that can be applied to online businesses, as well. But, the fact is that there are many women who find affiliate marketing to be ideal for them, so today I`m going to mention my favorite affiliate network.

Since I live in Guatemala, it`s tough to find affiliate networks that actually accept foreigners. It`s a real pain to try and go through Comission Junction, for example. While this might be a good option for Americans, I prefer Pepperjam.

Pepperjam is a great, fairly small affiliate network, but they have a really great setup. Each week, new programs are being added and they offer a wide variety of affiliate programs to choose from. In order to become an affiliate for a program, you need to apply. Some of the applications are automatic, but many are reviewed by hand. This can cause delays, but it`s actually a good thing, because if the affiliate company feels that you wouldn`t be a good fit, they turn you down. Which means you won`t be wasting your time with a product that probably wouldn`t sell on your site anyway.

Pepperjam Network uses a transparency rating to help affiliate companies find good affiliates. You can increase your transparency by doing a number of things like confirming your telephone number, etc.

Now, the BEST thing about this cool network is that you can actually talk to the programs. There are chats and other communication methods set up right in the network. And if you have a higher transparency, you can even negotiate your rates with the companies. How`s that for a cool affiliate idea?
