10 Things Your VA Can Do

When I first hired my VA, I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted her to do. I had a few things in mind, but to keep her busy for the 10 hours a week that I purchased was a bit difficult at first. So, for those of you who are considering hiring a VA, but aren’t sure what she could do for you, here are some ideas.

  1. Directory submission. Submit your blogs or websites to directories, you can even specify if you want only high Page Rank sites.
  2. Article marketing. If you have the articles, get your VA to submit them to numerous directories.
  3. Article writing. Depending on where your VA is located and how great their English is, you may want to pay them to write your articles for you.
  4. Blog commenting. Need to establish more of a presence on the web, but don’t have time? VA’s can do your blog commenting for you. Just be careful that they are doing a good job of it and not writing spammy comments.
  5. Forum posting. Similar to the above.
  6. Travel arrangements. If you need to travel, whether for business or other reasons, chances are you can get your VA to help you set things up.
  7. Online research. Need some information for your business? Get your VA to handle it.
  8. Email management. It can be a bit scary to let someone else into your email, but imagine not having to deal with those junk mails anymore. Additionally, virtual assistants can respond to common questions that come in via email.
  9. Contacting advertisers. If you are looking to increase your revenue with advertisers, have you VA seek out and contact companies that might be interested.
  10. Making lists. If you need a list of wahms, email courses on food prep, or just about anything else, get your VA to compile it for you. You’ll save time and get far more done.

Do you use a VA? If so, what do you outsource?
